Ghee is pure butter , an ideal culinary fat suitable for baking (withstands very high temperatures - up to 250°C). Ghee is obtained by heating butter over low heat until all the water evaporates, the solids separate and the butter turns into a transparent golden yellow fat. Lactose-free.
